The Core

Car audio is the core of our business at SRQ Custom Autosound. No matter what your needs are, we have the products and ability to exceed your expectations. Our staff has a long history of creating show quality vehicles, but even if you are simply looking to repair or replace some defective OEM components, we are here to help.

Creating great sound is not about throwing as many speakers in a door panel as you can fit. We prefer a minimalist approach, using better quality components to achieve better results. In most occasions, the vehicle does not need permanent modifications, but when its called for, rest assured that we will modify to enhance, not to detract.

The Bass

Many people look at car audio as simply adding subwoofers to their vehicle. The subwoofer is an important part of any audio system: in the car, the home or the concert hall. We are here to tailor a system to your tastes, big or small. No system is complete without some kind of subwoofer, and even a discrete single woofer hidden in the trunk will bring out a part of your music that you are missing.

Those with a passion for live sound will likely want a dual subwoofer setup, to add extra bass to their soundtrack. This gives the impression of a live performance, and is easily adjustable to lower levels when needed.

Others just love the feel and sound of the bass note. This can lead you to overpower the rest of your music with a strong bass line. From "that little extra kick," to "King Kong in the trunk," we have something for you.

The Source

The days of removing a factory radio to replace it with an aftermarket CD player are coming to an end. Your car probably came with a CD player already. It may have Sirius built in, play DVDs, have navigation or even climate controls. New technologies have made it possible to get the great sound you want while not giving up on the fit and finish of your factory dash.

Factory radios force specific EQ curves on the system to compensate for the inferior speakers they use. When new speakers are put in place, it can often sound worse because of this. Now several companies make interfaces that can listen to the system, and knowing how it is supposed to sound, can reverse the factory EQ before it gets to your amplifiers. The result is a flat balanced signal like you would get from a new radio, without having to change the feel of your dash.
